Whilst Scrapp strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of all data. Scrapp shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of or reliance on the information in our platform. Any public and other recycling facilities, including collection locations, that are identified by Scrapp hereunder are not under the control or influence of Scrapp. Therefore, Scrapp is not responsible for any losses or damages to any personal possessions and/or property that may occur when accessing such facilities.

Brand Collaboration and Verified Data

We've created a collaborative approach with brands that allows for direct participation in our platform:

  • Brands can upload their product information directly to Scrapp.
  • Verified brand submissions are distinguished with a green checkmark.
  • These entries include additional details about the product and the brand's sustainability initiatives.
  • Our team carefully reviews and validates these submissions with the brand to maintain high-quality standards.

Local Waste Programme Precision

Our local programme data represents the cornerstone of our location-specific guidance:

  • Information is sourced directly from local councils and municipalities.
  • We capture granular details, including specific bin contents and collection guidelines.
  • Whilst we strive for comprehensive coverage across our 28,000+ community database (USA, UK, & CAN), we acknowledge occasional updates may be missed. Communities can submit information at any point, and we can update it in real-time.

Beyond standard recycling programmes, we provide detailed information on alternative disposal options:

  • Our database includes recycling centres, textile collection points, and electronic recycling locations.
  • Drop-off point data is routinely verified by our dedicated data team and any incorrect information the team may have missed can be flagged by users.
